Try fresh aloe vera leaf juice. Not the one in the bottles. The fresh leaf. Buy a plant if you have to. It helps reduce what you're talking about. Apply and let dry. Then smooth pure, unrefined jojoba oil mixed with real, undiluted essential oil of chamomile over your skin. It gets rid of redness and irritation and promotes healing, as well as moisturizes. Real chamomile oil is not cheap, however, if you've been spending money on a dermatologist or lots of other products, you will see the sense in using this. A little goes a long way. Buy from a wholesaler of essential oils, NOT fragrance oils. You can find many online.

From the same kind of suppliers, you should be able to find calendula oil. Also good for redness and irritation. Does not promote acne.

A cheaper but less potent alternative when used by itself: take used chamomile tea bags and wipe them over your face. Or buy bulk chamomile flowers and steep them in boiled water, covered. Let cool and keep in a jar in the fridge. Use as a really cooling, refreshing toner which takes down irritation.

Use all of these things and it will help your skin a lot. What can be done to treat skin that has been reddened and damaged as a result of using benzoyl peroxide?
2 choices ask your doctor or a pharmacist OR go to Web MD
Hey hun, I came across your question just now because I am researching about scabies and itch mites. I would suggest not using a topical cream of anything else like it. There is a brand of lotion called ';kiss my face'; and it is not tested on aminals and contains no animal byproducts. It is stock full of healing chinese herbs. My father has been using it for years!! I would also suggest using a glycerin based soap such as ';clearly natural'; with aloe vera or vitamin E. I just ended using the Acne Free face kit after 5 years. I sware my skin was on a timed cycle to break out, and all that needed to be done was to break away. Just be gentle with your skin from here on out and it will get ';unred';. Good luck and take care, Sarah

Those brands are sold online as well as in most natural food stores. The soap is cheap (under 1.50) but the lotion averages 10 bucks for an average size bottle. Well worth it though!
