My dermatologist prescribed Benzoyl Peroxide (4.5%) pads for my moderate acne. The box says to apply in the morning but to refer to the paper inside the box for further instructions. Somehow I misplaced that paper before reading it. You don't. You wash your face BEFORE you use the BP. Give your face about 30 minutes, then use the BP pad. You leave it on. If you washed it off, what would be the point of using it? It's the acne medication. If you want it to treat your acne, you HAVE to leave it on.How long after using a Benzoyl Peroxide pad do you wash/rinse it off?
You don't wash it off. You put it on and leave it. It will continue to fight the bacteria that causes your acne throughout the day.
