Does benzoyl peroxide make you more susceptible to freckles?

I use BP for mild acne. It's known to take off the top layer of your skin, which has SPF 3. I don't normally freckle, so will this make me more vulnerable? Or will my skin darken more easily now?Does benzoyl peroxide make you more susceptible to freckles?
you have to use oil free moisturizer with at least spf 15 and higher. because BP will make your face dry.Does benzoyl peroxide make you more susceptible to freckles?
Benzoyl peroxide removes the top layer of skin, which also

decreases the sun protective effect. This can cause sun burn and premature aging if sun protection is not worn.

Freckles appear on sun exposed areas in people who have a

genetic tendency to develop them. Freckles can also be triggered by a long exposure to sun light. When sun's rays

penetrate the skin, they activate melnocytes which can cause

freckles to become darker and more in number.
